The Weekend drops another new song, his first new solo single since last year.  “Blinding Lights” joins “Heatless,” which the singer dropped three days earlier. The two singles have an ‘80s vibes with echo-drenched synthesizers.  The Grammy Award-winning artist first featured the song in an advertisement for Mercedes-Benz’s new EQC model. The Weekend also starred in the car manufacturer ad.  The Weeknd released My Dear Melancholy, last year. His last full-length, Starboy , was released in 2016. The show will see two top chefs battle to create the most mouth-watering meals in a single bite of food— like spaghetti and meatballs on a plate the size of a dime or sushi on a single grain of rice. “Anyone who knows me knows I love dinky stuff. Netflix has canceled the Mystery Science Theater 3000 .  Both the show’s creator Jonah Ray and the streamer giant confirmed that the revival will not be returning for a third season.  Ray tweeted Tuesday, “We don’t know what the future holds for the show,” he wrote adding, “it always seemed to figure out how to survive. From Comedy Central to SyFy. Then kept alive by RIFFTRAX & Cinematic Titanic. Whatever happens, I want everybody to know that getting a chance to be on this show was a dream come true.” MST3K made its return after creator Joel Hodgson helmed a successful Kickstarter campaign to help land the show at Netflix. CBS All Access has canceled Strange Angel after two seasons.  The drama based on the biography  Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons is the second series to be canceled by the streaming service. It joins fellow drama One Dollar which was canceled in December 2018.  “The series brought new meaning to the idea that the truth is stranger than fiction and we are incredibly thankful to the creative team of Mark Heyman, David DiGilio, Ridley Scott and David W. A  Hong Kong  protester shows his appreciation of the US move China  has warned the US it could take “firm counter-measures” if Washington continues to show support for pro-democracy protesters in  Hong Kong . According to reports, they signed an undisclosed settlement agreement at the Ikeja High Court after 2face dropped the N50m defamation suit filed against Blackface several months ago. New York’s Paris Theater to stay open! The historic Manhattan venue will officially remain open for business thanks to Netflix.  Multiple outlets confirm that the streaming giant has signed an extended lease agreement to keep the theater open, which means that the Paris Theater, Manhattan’s last single-screen movie palace is here to stay.  “After 71 years, the Paris Theatre has an enduring legacy, and remains the destination for a one-of-a-kind movie-going experience,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer. “We are incredibly proud to preserve this historic New York institution so it can continue to be a cinematic home for film lovers.” While this is very good news, we’ve learned that Netflix isn’t planning on running the theater as a normal theater but rather plans to use it for its original movies, special events, and other screenings.  The post New York’s Paris Theatre Re-Opens appeared first on OMG Check It Out ! .
