BTS to Drop New Album “BE (Deluxe Edition)” in November

While BTS has been making history with “Dynamite”, becoming the first K-pop group to top the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in a row and breaking YouTube records by scoring the most views in 24 hours with 100 million views, they’ve also been busy recording a new album. The K-pop group has announced that their latest album BE (Deluxe Edition) will be released on November 20. N2.67bn for school feeding programme found in private accounts – ICPC

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC has uncovered N2.67bn of funds meant for school feeding programmes stashed in private bank accounts. The anti-graft agency made the revelation on Monday during its second National Summit on Corruption at the Presidential Villa in Abuja,  Sahara Reporters  reports. Prof Bolaji Owasanoye, Chairman of the commission, said the money was meant to feed children in federal colleges around the country during the COVID-19 lockdown. He added that ICPC also discovered over N2.5bn appropriated by a deceased senior civil servant in the Ministry of Agriculture for himself and accomplices. Some 18 buildings, 12 business premises and 25 plots of land were also recovered in the same ministry. Owasanoye said under Open Treasury Portal review carried out between January to August 15, 2020, out of 268 ministries, departments and agendas, 72 of them had cumulative infractions of N90m. The rapper who is not in any way unconnected from the circumstances that led to the disqualification of the actress, made move to extend an olive branch a day after he was announced winner of the show. If you recall, Erica was disqualified over what the organizers of the show considered as unruly behaviours after she went on a body-shaming and abusive spree on Laycon and other housemates. Weeks after she got disqualified, Laycon emerged the winner of the BBNaija show and got rewarded with N85 million. New York restaurant guests dine in ‘Bubbles’ to maintain social distance

Café du Soleil, a French restaurant on Manhattan’s Upper West Side has set up plastic bubbles on its sidewalk to protect customers from the spread of coronavirus and as well as shelter them from cold and rain. Valerie Worthy, who came to the cafe with her two coworkers after seeing a story about the “space bubbles” on local TV channel NY1 told Reuters said it is one of the best experienced: “Well, I can tell you that with everything going on in this world, eating in a bubble is about one of the best experiences we can have. So, I mean, look at it. They have everything safe, clean. Everything is six feet apart. Love it.” Cafe Du Soleil owner, Alain Chevreux, who bought the cafe 15 years ago, found the bubbles on the internet in July, when he was trying to figure out how to stay in business when the weather shifts to cold, together with the changing seasons.
