An Australian man who believes he is the secret son of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will take the fight to prove his identity, it has been claimed. Simon Dorante-Day was adopted into a family who had ties to the Queen and lived in Portsmouth, England, when he was a kid. The 55-year-old told 7News his late grandmother, who used to work for the Queen, told him “outright” that he was Camilla and Charles’ biological son “many times.” He claims to have been given evidence that shows Camilla became close with Charles in 1965 when the pair were teenagers. Camilla then allegedly disappeared from Britain’s social scene for 9 months while Charles was sent to Australia. Dorante-Day is now preparing to take the fight for his identity to the Australian High Court. The Police in Anambra have launched an investigation into arsonist attack on the palace of Igwe Emeka Ilouno, the monarch of Ifitedunu in Dunukofia LGA. DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra made the disclosure in a statement on Monday. Ilouno’s palace was set on fire by yet to be unidentified people during which vehicles were also burnt. “I thank God that there is life, my palace was set ablaze in the dead of the night, my jeep was also burnt”, Igwe Ilouno said. The Police said two persons sustained injuries and were receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital. “The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr Monday Bala Kuryas has ordered investigations into the unfortunate attack of the Palace of Igwe Ifitedunu, HRH Dr Emeka Ilouno”, said Ikenga. “Information so far available to the police reveals that two persons sustained fire-burn injuries and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital. “The fire was put off by the combined efforts of go...

Five police officers have been confirmed dead after gunmen suspected to be IPOB/ESN militants attacked the Okigwe South Area command on Monday April 26. Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Orlando Ikeokwu, said one of the officers is yet to be accounted for. He added that the command’s building wasn’t razed.
