Photos Of Weapons Recovered From Protesting Shiite Members Yesterday In Abuja

Sect members have been having on and off clashes with the Nigerian military and it all began on Saturday, October 27th.

And on Monday October 29th it continued. The Sect members had started a protest that morning and tried to prevent a military vehicle carrying ammunition from gaining access on Nyanya road in Abuja. It was later alleged that the police were later forced to open fire on them to allow the military vehicle have it’s way.

Yesterday, the protest continued and a police patrol vehicle was burnt down.

Police later arrested about 400 of them and weapons such as petrol bombs were found on them, including drugs when they were paraded by the  Abuja police command. More photos below…
