Woman allegedly kills her baby, commits suicide in Lagos

A mother of one has allegedly committed suicide after killing her three-year-old son in the Ayobo area of Lagos on Saturday, March 30.

The middle-aged teacher whose full identity is yet to be revealed reportedly lived comfortably with her son at their home on No 1, Adeniran Street, off Ferguson Osagie Road in Ayobo.

According to residents of the area, her husband is based abroad and she was financially comfortable with known trouble that may have led her to committing the act.

Officers from the Ayobo Police Station who were invited after the incident was discovered, say they are not ruling out possible double homicide as the deceased and her son were foaming from the mouth when they were found dead inside their home.

Reports say the two corpses are currently lying in the house awaiting the Oro rituals before they are moved.

“The L Word: Generation Q” Casts Four

The L Word: Generation Q is rounding out its cast.  The sequel from executive producer and writer Marja-Lewis Ryan for Showtime has added four name to its call sheet.  The hit lesbian drama has cast Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, and Rosanny Zayas in series regular roles. The join original series stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig, and Leisha Hailey. Per Showtime, “Dani (Mandi) is a powerful and calculating PR executive whose ambition is only tested by her conscience. Micah (Sheng) is an earnest, soft-spoken adjunct professor who is forced to confront his fear of vulnerability. Strange Angel is coming back for a second season.   The streaming service has handed out a second-season for the scripted drama about the pioneer and occultist Jack Parsons.   The seriesת based on the biography S trange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons, stars Jack Reynor as Parsons.
