LAGOS: Tanker Explosion Rocks Amuwo-Odofin (Festac Extension)

In the Early Hours of Thursday Morning,29th October 2020 at about 1:30am there was pandemonium in the Mile 2 axis of the Amuwo-odofin LGA, Lagos State

According to a source, A truck laden with petrol fell and this led to explosion. There were multiple tanker explosions.

The explosion which led to the huge fire outbreak that consumed trucks and tankers loaded with goods occured at the Alaba Express axis of the Oshodi-Apapa near oposite the Lacasera company.

Close to this explosion are resident areas such as the Mile 2 Jakande Estate, Festac Extension and the Fatgbems filling station.
