THE CHAIRMAN OF OGUN STATE COUNCIL OF OBAS THE AKARIGBO AND PARAMOUNT RULER OF REMO KINGDOM COMMISERATE WITH OYO STATE AND YORUBAS OVER TRANSITION OF OBA LAMIDI ADEYEMI III

The Akarigbo of REMOLAND and Chairman of Ogun State Council of Obas , Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, on Monday 25th April commiserated with the government and people of Oyo State and Yorubas all over the world on the transition to the great beyond of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.

In a condolence message to the people & goverment of Oyo State, The Akarigbo described the late Oyo monarch as a great courageous king who did everything possible to preserve the culture and tradition of his people.

AKARIGBO Noted that Oba Adeyemi’s reign witnessed peace and unity of the kingdom, which created the enabling environment for growth and development, not just in Oyo State but also in Nigeria.

The AKARIGBO lamented that the late monarch departed at a time when his wisdom and wealth of experience was needed to navigate the murky waters of politics and the national insecurity threatening the corporate existence of our dear country, Nigeria

The Akarigbo further prayed for peace for the late monarchs family, Oyo state and Nigeria in general.
