I will make a difference that will outlive my tenure Muktar Shagaya; 33-year old Kwara Rep

Rep Muktar Shagaya (APC-Kwara) says he will strive to make a difference as a member of the 10th House of Representatives that will outlive his tenure.

The newly sworn-in 33 year old member, representing, Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency of Kwara said this in Abuja at the inauguration dinner held in his honor.

He said his election signalled the beginning of a new chapter in the journey toward progress, development, and prosperity of his constituency and the country at large.

In his words, “this is a chapter in our nation building where our collective power as citizens forges a path of inclusive governance, transparency, and accountability”.

He commended his supporters for their invaluable support and presence, adding that, “my hope is that we navigate this journey together, guided by the values that define us and create a lasting legacy of service to others.”

“I am immensely honored and grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I vow to serve with utmost dedication, integrity, and passion.”

He commended the Kwara State Governor, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, his ever supportive family and critical stakeholders for their unwavering support.

He urged his constituents to draw strength from its shared values and common purpose and vowed to work together to improve the lives of his constituents.

He further said he would uplift communities, and position the state and Nigeria as a beacon of progress and advancement

With a resolute conviction, Shagaya made it clear that his election was not a ticket to indulge in the people’s resources. He emphasized that any benefits that come his way will be conscientiously employed for the betterment of the populace.
