Mark Hamill is officially voicing the world’s iconic killer doll, Chucky. “If you’re wondering who’s going to play Chucky in the new Child’s Play ,” Hamill said Saturday at Orion’s pane presentation at WonderCon in Anaheim, “you’re looking at him.” Best known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise, this isn’t the first time Hamill will dabble in voicing famous characters. The police in Lagos have arrested a pastor, Chizemdere Ezuma , for allegedly sodomising, prostituting and infecting underage boys with HIV. The pastor, who is the founder of Jesus Intervention Household Ministry in Ejigbo area of Lagos, had been declared wanted three months ago. He was arrested at his residence following a tip-off that he had shown up. The police said the suspect climbed his ceiling and hid there for over two hours to evade arrest when officers from Ejigbo Division stormed his home a few days ago. The cleric was mentioned after an alleged male prostitute, Prince Chinecherem, was arrested and charged to court following the confession of a 16-year-old victim, Anthony Ikem. The boy was found sneaking out of Chinecherem’s home with a polythene bag containing used condoms and other items. Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer are in talks to join Netflix’s Thunder Force. The original Netflix superhero comedy will be directed by McCarthy’s husband, Ben Falcone, form his own script. Marc Platt, Falcone and McCarthy are producing.  The husband and wife are frequent collaborators, having previously worked on Tammy (2014), The Boss (2016), and Life of the Party (2018). However, should McCarthy and Spencer join the project, it will be the first time the Oscar-nominated and Oscar-winning actresses share the screen. Angelina Jolie is in negotiations to make her Marvel debut.  The 43-year-old actress could be making her first jaunt into the superhero realm. Jolie is in talks to star in Marvel Studios’ The Eternals, a superhero team adventure feature helmed by Chloe Zhao. While, not surprisingly, details of the plot and Jolie’s character are being kept under wraps, according to The Hollywood Reporter , the film centers on a group of superpowered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals; the plot also includes a love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans. Zhao’s directing credits include The Rider and Songs My Brothers Taught Me. She will direct The Eternals from a script penned by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
